KnightLight Players

John Rhys Plumlee / Mikey Keene | OB1?

The big question remains and it’s who will be behind center taking snaps for UCF’s offense. Plumlee was sidelined after taking a big hit to the head last week against Cincinnati. Backup Mikey Keene had the offense moving well through the air, which opened up the rushing attack. Still, when Plumlee is rolling, the offense looks dangerous. Knight Nation may have to wait until kickoff for a starter to be named.

Plumlee | passing yards – 1883 yards, 11 TD, 6 INT | 532 rushing yards & 7 touchdowns

Keene | 15/21, 176 yards, 0 TD

R.J Harvey | RB

Stats: 55 attempts, 381 yards, 3 TD

Jason Johnson | Linebacker

Stats: 39 solo tackles, 72 total, 3.5 TFL, 4 QBH, 1 FR

Note: Leads team in multiple categories

Memphis Impact Players

Memphis is in its third season under head coach Ryan Silverfield, who has compiled an 18-14 record since taking over the program prior to the bowl game in 2019, according to UCF Athletics.

So far this season, Memphis is 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in AAC play this season. The Tigers have given up 42.6 points in its last three outings.

UCF’s defense will be the key to victory. The Knights still remain one of only five FBS teams in the country that has only allowed an opponent to score more than 21 points in a game one time this season.

Look out Knight Nation because Memphis would love to have one more punch before UCF exits to the Big 12 Conference.

Seth Henigan | QB

Xavier Cullens – Linebacker

Stats: 61 total tackles, 5 TFL, 1 QBH, 1 FF, 2 interceptions

Caden Prieskorn | WR

Stats: 31 catches, 378 yards, 6 TD
